Creating further ideas for my packaging

Daisy Jackson / 27/02/2023

After looking at both my ideas for the packaging brief - one being a 5 in 1 coathanger and the other being a box poster, I decided to go with the box poster idea.

Why? Because I feel this is more illustrative and more useful for many as it encourages collecting and purchases.

Here are a few more examples of my idea:

The idea for this is to have the box packaging fold inside out and reveal facts about PBI and ATIGI. This is informative and also illustrative. I also think it is easier to understand for the customer and not too much hassle.

There will be 5 different designs. One of these poster designs will be a limited edition rare version which will encourage purchases.

I have decided to change the product to the PBI T-shirt range as the packaging box I purchased was a lot smaller than expected. This actually ended up being more of a blessing than a curse as it is less waste regardless if the customer decides they do not want the packaging. It is also small enough to not be a hassle when on the side or a desk etc.

Here are images of the box in action:

Here would be an example of the packaging folded inside out to reveal the information provided and the box poster:

The inclusion of a cotton bag?

When looking at other luxury packaging, cotton bags were used commonly to represent luxury. A lot of other clothing brands include cotton bags as well to encourage multi-use and it also adds value to the cotton bag being branded.

One of the concerns is cost as well as sustainability. However, Canada Goose have partnered with Bluesign who make sure manufacturing is done fairly, as well as making sure that pay is appropriate. This partnership ensures that the way the cotton is used is ethical.
